Review : Good machine but came with wrong ram
The machine arrived exactly as I expected except it only had 512mb of ram while it had been advertised as coming with 1gb. The ram was also slower than what the interwebs says is the correct speed ram (came with DDR2 3200 but should have had DDR2 5300). I sent an email immediately upon receipt to the supplier about the ram, but didn't really expect to hear from anyone as it was Friday afternoon. I got an email on Saturday saying they were sorry and the correct ram would be mailed on Monday. I was planning on installing win7 64bit on this machine and I wanted to max out the memory, so I asked about the pricing on 2gb, 4gb and 8gb. He responded favorably Saturday afternoon. I then discovered that 4gb was the max for this machine, so I asked if he could supply 2x 2gb pc2 5300 ram. We went round and round with this with his tech claiming the machine had a 3gb max since it was 32bit(?) and then they didn't have the speed that I needed. I finally gave up and ordered the ram I needed...
