Review : CPU failure after 6 months.. so much for 3y warranty included
I ordered the highest configuration on this tablet at HP.comHP TouchSmart tm2t-2100 12.1" CTO Notebook (1.33 GHz Intel Core i5-470UM Processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Drive, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit), and boy it was a mistake. When first received, I realized the touch pad was the worst ever, even after all kinds of changing setting on the synaptic driver. The main thing is the finish. I,m not talking about the appealing aluminum engraved case, but on the usable parts. As usual with HP, they cannot make one product without design flaws. For example, the keyboard was designed loose from both left and right top ends, which makes is very noisy when you strike upper keys. After gluing the keyboard, some middle keys stated to be non responsive. The cheap material used by HP is quite common, but I did not expect that even on a $1400 high end...
