Review : Good machine for the money
I bought this model [refurbished] about 2 months ago. It arrived well packed and looking brand new. I had purchased the Square Trade warranty but have not yet put this to the test. I upgraded the Win 7 Home Premium to Professional and mostly run XP Mode on it, which after some tweaking runs rather well.
I have so far experienced no problems with any of the hardware and was able to install my Canon Pixma printer as a network printer with no difficulties. Adding an extra SATA drive was simple, and it works very well with the HP 23.5 inch monitor that I already had.
Generally the machine is fast [when running Win 7] and stable. XP Mode seems stable although performance isn't quite as good as I had expected and there are some issues accessing 'local' network shares from it although never through VPN. Still until my company gets a 64-bit VPN that runs on Win 7 I am stuck with XP Mode for some of my work.
I would probably buy another of these machines.
