I could not resist an 8 core machine at this price, It runs ESXi 5.0 Update 1 perfectly. The only note of caution would be that the Onboard SATA RAID Controller is not supported by ESXi, so you have to load the drives as single drives. Other than that, this is the perfect hardware for a VM box!
